Coming soon! Water Lily notecards. I've taken numerous photos of some water lilies growing in our fish pond and have chosen five favorites to have professionally printed onto high quality card stock. The notecards will come in a boxed set with envelopes. You may ask yourself "what do water lily photos have to do with wine?" Other than being created by a self-proclaimed Wine Diva (yours truly), nothing. But this is my website and I can pretty much do whatever I want ;-)

Coming soon! Framed prints of my "Fun With Corks" photography series. Each print will be custom framed by me in a simple black wood frame. It will have a single soft white archival mat and your choice of regular or non-glare plexiglass. Each print varies slightly in size, but they will be framed to approximately 12" x 14" finished. Once I have everything listed, the exact size will be given.

Feb 6, 2009 - On My Needles
Starting a cowl made of 90% merino and 10% nylon. It's a nice, soft yarn in a rainbow of muted colors. It should only take a few days to make. I should probably be done by this time next week. Watch for it in my shop!
Feb 7 Update - started out as a cowl, but as I was working with the yarn I realized it needed to be a beret. So a beret it will be, and a beautiful one at that!

Most of last year I spent working on a photography project - photographing food for an upcoming cookbook that my good friend, Chef Dennis Chan of Blue Bamboo Restaurant, is publishing. We both worked hard and our hard work is paying off. The book is at the binder's now and should be released next week (hopefully!). We're both very excited about it.
You can pre-order your copy now here. Cost of the cookbook is $34.95 plus tax and shipping.
